This sermon addresses a section of Peter's letter that Waltner, Erland, and J. Daryl Charles have called "The Celebration of Christian Hope and Its Life Impact". Peter introduces a theme that continues throughout the letter, salvation. Related to our salvation is "New Birth", "Living Hope", "Inheritance", as well as the purpose of trials that believers experience throughout life.
